About Ripple Effect (the new name for Send a Cow) We are a growing and dynamic international development charity supporting farming families in east Africa to learn more, grow more and sell more, creating a ripple effect of positive and sustainable change that grows and grows.
We are a partnership of committed African staff working alongside these resourceful communities, with marketing and support from the UK and US. The Communications team is central to this, ensuring that we build our profile and establish an authoritative voice in our areas of expertise: sustainable farming; including everyone; and enterprise skills.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced video journalist to identify and produce engaging content from our projects across rural east Africa.The ideal candidate will have experience of creating captivating content to engage international audiences, leading to increased brand profile and improved fundraising. A good understanding of poverty issues in the region and development issues is an advantage. As the role will co-ordinate content collection across our country programmes and work closely with the teams in the UK and US, fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with French language skills as an advantage.
