The “Deep Dive into Accounting Processes” will provide the intern with hands-on experience developing a systematic approach to updating the department’s process documentation. The project will include taking an inventory of existing documentation, and then working directly with the subject matter experts to make updates, create process flows, and identify risks and control points. The final product will be an indexed collection of data that can easily be updated and maintained by the department. This is an excellent opportunity for learning how an accounting department works.

The intern will also assist with various accounting tasks relating to our established routines.

The intern will participate in and gain first hand experience understanding what the Corporate Finance department of a large, complex non profit organization does on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
