High honours for the students of Kesmonds International University for their brilliant participation in the parade of the 60th edition of the Youth Week in the third district of Ngaoundéré.

On 11 February 2026, on the esplanade of the Place des Fêtes, students from Kesmonds International University set the parade stage alight during the 60^th edition of Youth Day. Their appearance, marked by impeccable attire and proud posture, drew admiration from the authorities and the public.

The esplanade of the Place des Fêtes, transformed for the occasion into a public grandstand, vibrated on 11 February 2026 to the rhythm of the delegations celebrating the 60^th edition of Youth Day. Among them, Kesmonds International University stood out for the presence and dynamism of its students.

With their heads held high and their chests out, the young people marched confidently, sporting their blue and white uniforms. The contrast was reinforced by a few students dressed in surgical gowns, a choice that aroused both curiosity and admiration among the spectators. This mix of outfits — symbolic of the different disciplines represented within the university — gave Kesmonds’ passage a special colour, amplifying the enthusiasm of the large crowds that had gathered.

The ceremony was attended by administrative and traditional authorities, including the sub-prefect and the mayor, who praised the quality of the student participation. Each time the students passed by, bursts of applause rang out, reflecting the warm reception and shared pride between the young people and the population.

The students’ satisfaction was palpable. ‘We are honoured to have represented our university and our country,’ said one of the participants, summing up the general feeling of belonging and pride. The participation of these young people, of various nationalities, also illustrated the spirit of openness and unity in diversity that characterises the institution.
