The Women 4 Water-Swarovski Scholarships offer an exceptional opportunity for female professionals from developing countries to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree in the Netherlands. Funded by the Swarovski Foundation, the program supports women working in water management, biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, and climate resilience who wish to strengthen their expertise through advanced education.
The scholarship is awarded for the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and aims to empower future female leaders tackling global water and environmental challenges.

The scholarship supports: Master of Science (MSc). Students must enroll in the one-year MSc in Water and Sustainable Development.

Eligible Nationalities
Applications are open to: Female citizens of low-income countries, Female citizens of lower-middle-income countries, Female citizens of upper-middle-income countries and Applicants must currently live and work in an eligible developing country.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be female professionals
- Be citizens of an eligible developing country
- Be living and working in their home country
- Obtain unconditional admission to the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft
- Select the Water Resources and Ecosystem Health track
- Choose either the Environment profile or the Digital Innovation and Hydro informatics profile
- Commit to returning to their home country after completing their studies
- Not receive funding from another scholarship program simultaneously
- Applicants with experience in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation, water governance, or sustainable environmental management are particularly encouraged to apply.
Preferred Technical Skills
The selection committee values candidates with expertise in: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Artificial Intelligence applications, Environmental Modelling, Data Analysis, Sustainable Planning Tools.
These skills strengthen applications by demonstrating the ability to apply innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

Applicants should follow these steps:
- Apply for admission to the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft.
- Select the Water Resources and Ecosystem Health track.
- Choose either the Environment profile or Digital Innovation and Hydro informatics profile.
- Obtain unconditional admission before the specified deadline.
- Eligible applicants will automatically be included in the initial scholarship screening.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a dedicated scholarship application.
- Selected applicants will participate in interviews before final scholarship decisions are made.
