SDU Danish Government Scholarships in Denmark 2025 (Full Tuition Fee) is available to undertake Masters level programs at University of Southern Denmark.

Benefits

Tuition Fee Coverage

  • Scholarships are awarded as either full or partial tuition fee
  • A partial tuition coverage will waive your tuition fees for one academic year, specifically the second and fourth semesters. However, you will be responsible for the tuition fees in the first and third semesters. It’s important to note that this coverage applies to a maximum of 30 ECTS credits per semester. Any courses exceeding this amount will not be covered by the scholarship.

 

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to international students from non-EU/EEA countries.

Eligibility Criteria

The good news is that applying for the scholarship is straightforward! You simply need to submit your application for admission to one or more relevant Master’s programs. There’s no separate application process for the scholarship itself. To be considered for a scholarship, please keep these points in mind:

Application Deadline

Applications for admission (including those seeking a scholarship) must be submitted by February 1st 2025. This applies even if you hold a Danish residence permit.

 

Complete Application Package:

Ensure your admission application includes all necessary documentation at the time of submission. This means SDU shouldn’t need to request any additional documents from you later.

Application Procedure

 

Required Application Materials

To ensure a smooth application process, please make sure you include the following in your online application:

  • Application Deposit Receipt: Proof of your application deposit fee.
  • Academic Transcripts and Diploma: Official transcripts and diploma from your Bachelor’s program in English, Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian. These documents must clearly show your grades and ECTS/units/credits for each course.
  • Course Descriptions: Descriptions of the courses listed on your transcripts.
  • English Language Proficiency Proof: Documentation demonstrating your proficiency in English.

 

Please note: All documents must be uploaded electronically through your online application. Documents sent via email are acceptable.

 

Scholarship Selection Process

The scholarships are awarded to the most qualified candidates based on two main factors:

  • Academic Achievement:Your grade point average from your Bachelor’s degree will be carefully considered.
  • Online Interview: You’ll be invited to an interview with key faculty members from your chosen Master’s program. This interview is your chance to showcase your skills and motivation.

 

Interview Details

Once your application is processed, you’ll receive an invitation to the interview by email. If you applied to multiple programs, the interview will focus on your top choice. Interviews will be held between February 16th and 28th, so keep an eye on your inbox during this period. There’s no specific preparation required for the interview, so just be yourself and be ready to discuss your academic background and program interest.
