KESMONDS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

In order to impart skills to our students, two engineers and faculty members from Kesmonds International University Ngaoundere attended a training seminar on agro-food processing hosted by African Oasis in Yaoundé. KESMONDS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, which is passionate about the industrialization of academic programs, introduced extracurricular activities in the field of agro-food processing.

During the training, the team acquired practical skills in the following areas:

  • Production of natural juices without chemical additives based on natural fruits
  • Methods for preserving natural juices without adding preservatives or chemicals
  • Production and clarification of red and white wine
  • Manufacturing a fermenter using simple means
  • Business plan for the production of natural juices.

With the knowledge and skills they gained from the training, our engineers were better equipped to teach KIU students and support the establishment of SMEs through student organizations and the university’s industrialization drive.
