Background
Organizational context : The internship program at UNDP in Guinea is of a professional nature and is aimed primarily at young professionals regularly enrolled in vocational schools and universities or higher education establishments, or who have already completed their studies in less than a year. .
Priority is given to people of Guinean nationality or having their permanent residence in Guinea. However, a limited number of foreign candidates will be able to benefit from the internship program depending on the needs of the UNDP Office in Guinea.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Human Resources Associate, the Human Resources Intern provides support to the departments by ensuring high quality of work and the smooth running of the unit while guaranteeing absolute confidentiality in aspects of his assignment and maintenance of protocol procedures.
Summary of key functions:
Administrative support in the implementation of HR strategies and policies;
Administrative support in the organization of recruitment processes;
Support in the drafting of minutes;
Regular updating of Office staff lists;
Administrative support in the preparation of contracts (SC);
Preparation of Chronos and archiving of completed processes;
Acquisition and sharing of knowledge in the Office;
Updating personnel information in the Quantum system;
Assistance in the collection of cost recovery data for services rendered by the UNDP Human Resources Unit to projects and Agencies;
Acquisition of professionalizing experience essential for his career;
Support in the preparation of the payroll.

Required Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications and Experience: Education:
The Intern must be registered at the university (graduate programs, Masters, License or equivalent in the field of Human Resources Management, Administration, Law, or similar studies of less than one year;
Or be enrolled in the last academic year of a first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in the same categories of studies;
Or have obtained a university degree in the field of Human Resources Management, Administration or Law of less than one year.
Experiences:
Experience in the above fields will be an asset.
Experience in the use of computers and office software (MS Word, Excel, etc. and web-based management systems);
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in a team and in a multicultural environment;
Language and others:
Mastering French ;
Good understanding of English desired.
Conditions:
UNDP will not pay me for my internship and that all related costs must be borne by me or my sponsoring institution;
UNDP is not responsible for any costs resulting from accidents and/or illness occurring during my internship and that I must, therefore, provide proof of my enrollment in a health insurance scheme;
There is no hope of employment at the end of my internship;
UNDP does not deal with immigration authorities and therefore I myself am responsible for obtaining the necessary visas. UNDP can only support me by providing the invitation letter for obtaining visas, if necessary.
The selected candidate must agree to comply with the following obligations with regard to the internship program :
Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with their responsibilities as an intern in UNDP;
Keep confidential all unpublished information that the office will communicate during its internship, and not to publish reports or working papers on the basis of information obtained during this internship, except with the authorization of UNDP;
Provide written notice in the event of illness or other unavoidable circumstances that could prevent him from fulfilling his obligations;
Prepare a short report on his mission at the end of the internship and submit it to the Department concerned.
Do an exit interview before the expiration date of his internship.
