What is the Rotary Peace Fellowship?
The Rotary Peace Centers Program is designed to develop the next generation of peace and development professionals through academic training, hands-on field experience, and global networking opportunities. Since its launch in 2002, the program has trained over 1,800 fellows from more than 140 countries, many of whom now serve in governments, NGOs, international organizations, peacekeeping forces, and law enforcement agencies.

Types of Rotary Peace Fellowships
Rotary International offers two types of peace fellowships:
- Master’s Degree Programs
- Available at premier universities worldwide.
- Duration: 15 to 24 months.
- Fellows study peace and development issues through research-informed teaching.
- Includes a 2- to 3-month field study, designed by the fellow.
- Professional Development Certificate Program
- Duration: 1 year (blended learning program).
- Ideal for experienced professionals working in peacebuilding and development.
- Focuses on practical skills to promote peace in local communities.
- Fellows complete field studies and lead a social change initiative.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Rotary Peace Fellowship 2026-27, applicants must:

- Have at least three years of work experience (Master’s program) or five years (Certificate program) in a related field.
