Tanzania’s President John Pombe Magufuli has died, aged 61.

Vice President Samia Suluhu announced the death of H.E John Pombe Magufuli. H.E Samia Hassan Suluhu (VP) is set to be sworn in as the first female president for Tanzanian 🇹🇿 and the 3rd female president in the African continent. This is after Ellen Johnson Sirleaf🇱🇷 and Joyce Banda🇲🇼.
Suluhu will serve for the remaining time of Magufuli second term which commenced on 5th November, 2020.
