The City of Janesville is encouraging local non-profit organizations, community and school groups, and others to apply for funding opportunities now available through the Rock River Stormwater Group’s 2023 Water Quality Education & Involvement Mini-Grant.
Through this program, funds are available to organizations that provide public education about stormwater pollution prevention or projects that contribute to reducing stormwater runoff pollution.
“Through the Rock River Stormwater Group, we have been able to participate in creating a grant which provides a rare opportunity for the public to acquire funding to contribute to efforts to reduce stormwater runoff pollution,” said City Civil Engineer Karissa Chapman Greer.
The 2023 Mini-Grant program will award up to $5,000 for projects.
Interested organizations can find additional information on this program on Protect Wisconsin Waterways’ website.
