Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Lithuanian State Scholarship for Master’s Studies 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China (incl. Taiwan), Georgia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, South Korea, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, or be a foreign citizen of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and non-EFTA countries.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year OR be a final-year integrated study student.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (Lithuanian, English, or another).
- Have an official acceptance or pre-acceptance letter from a Lithuanian university confirming their eligibility for a Master’s degree program.
- Belarusian applicants must hold a valid residence permit in Lithuania.
- Applicants must not have received this scholarship previously or hold a Master’s degree from any country.
- For joint degree programs, funding is only provided for the part of studies held in Lithuania.
